Falling Feathers
Foundation

Striving to improve the mental health of individuals battling with illness by providing enriching outdoor experiences and opportunities.

Nature is all around us, offering endless opportunities to bring joy into our lives. Our goal is to make outdoor activities accessible and help foster a deeper connection to nature for those that need it the most.

Medical treatments, illnesses, and environmental surroundings can often make us feel disconnected from what grounds us and makes us human. These challenges can have profound physical and mental impacts, not only on the individuals affected but also on those who care for them. For nature lovers, spending time outdoors offers a natural source of joy, uplifting the spirit and providing something to look forward to. Fresh air, physical activities, the learning and observation of wildlife, and quality time spent with family and friends helps to create a love for nature and provides a positive diversion from the hardships of life while improving our wellbeing.

Many people do not have the access, resources or the guidance needed to enjoy the outdoors or pursue the activities that interest them. Falling Feathers aims to create opportunities for participants through outdoor programs that will help people live in the moment, learn new skills, improve mental health and to create memories to last a lifetime during their journey to recovery.
